How Is The Box Office Fight This Weekend?

When a bunch of films get released at the same time, we see tough competition at the box office. When the movies have a good craze, the fight is going to be even more interesting. We have witnessed a huge race during the Sankranti season and it is 'Hanu-Man' who emerged as the winner. We are into the second week of February and the competition is intriguing this weekend.

On 8th February, we are going to see YS Jagan's political journey in the form of 'Yatra 2'. The songs and trailer generated a good response and expectations are quite high on this movie. The supporters of YSRCP are expected to watch this film in huge numbers. Tamil hero Jiiva played the role of current AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in this movie.

On 9th Feb, Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is going to arrive on the big screens with 'Eagle'. This action drama is made on a grand budget and it is getting released on a grand scale as well. Karthik Ghattamaneni is the director of this movie which is set in the mafia backdrop. The movie has a lot of noted actors and the trailer impressed the audience big time. Fans have pinned high hopes on this movie and Ravi Teja is highly confident about this film.

'Laal Salaam' is another film which is releasing on the same day. Made by Aishwarya Rajnikanth, this movie has Vishnu Vishal playing the lead role while superstar Rajnikanth will be seen in a special character. Lyca Productions banner has bankrolled this movie and it is getting released in multiple languages. There are high expectations on it in Tamil Nadu and AR Rahman gave music for it. Let us see if 'Laal Salaam' impressed the viewers or not.

Last but not least, Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannadh's 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' is having a re-release on 7th February. PK's films get huge response even if they are re-releases. The political touch in this film will make it quite significant in Andhra Pradesh since the elections are coming quick and fast. With Pawan involved in the elections with his Jana Sena party, we need to see how much of an influence it makes. Small film 'True Lover' is also getting released in Telugu and Tamil on 10th February.
