Blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD' is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. The movie is all set to hit the 1000 crore mark within the next few days. This dystopian fictional drama has almost completed its one week run at the box office and it amassed a gigantic sum of 725 crores till date. It crossed the 700-crore mark with ease and the collections are steady even now.

The movie minted 45 crores on its seventh day which explains the craze of this movie which was released on a non-holiday. The movie is doing tremendous business in the North American market as well. It earned $13.5 million in North America and the numbers are going to be big on Thursday (USA Independence Day). It is wowing the audience in the North as well. With the second weekend coming, the numbers are expected to increase once again.

This Prabhas starrer stood in the first place while SRK's 'Jawan' took second place with 5.80 million. 'Animal' is in the 3rd spot with 5.20 million tickets sold while Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' surprisingly took the 4th spot with 4.70 million tickets. Prabhas' action drama 'Salaar' has the 5th spot with 3.92 million tickets sold on this site.

This is the biggest movie made in India and the costliest one ever produced under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Prabhas is proving his stamina time and again with each and every film. He flexed his stardom and craze once again with 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Having big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and other known stars as guests too helped the movie a lot. Nag Ashwin's vision and impeccable taking have taken everyone by surprise. The second part is expected to arrive in 2025.
