Free Run For 'Kalki' Once Again As It Nears 'RRR' Collections!

The Hindi version of 'Kalki 2898 AD' is outperforming all the Bollywood releases this year. The movie crossed the 250 crore mark long back and the movie is in its fourth week but the collections are still quite steady from North India. Sources say that it got 3 crores each on Monday and Tuesday while it minted 4.25 crores on Wednesday.

It even minted 2.25 crores on Thursday which is quite amazing. Despite having competition from big films like 'Indian 2' and 'Sarfira', 'Kalki 2898 AD' is holding on its own and got 34.45 crores throughout the week. With 'Good Newz' also getting an average response, the line is clear for Prabhas and Nag Ashwin's magnum opus to have another free run at the box office.

Till date, the movie earned 267.65 crores and it is expected to easily cross 275 crores by the end of the 4th weekend. If it goes like this, it is easily going to surpass the lifetime collections of 'RRR' in no time. We need to see if it touches the 300-crore mark or not.

Prabhas' film became the highest-grosser of Bollywood in 2024. This goes on to show the dominance of South films lately. With movies like 'Devara' and 'Pushpa 2' releasing this year, Bollywood is expected to take a step back as they were in the driving seat last year with hits like 'Pathaan', 'Jawan' and 'Gaddar 2'. 'Kalki 2' is going to hit the screens in 2026 and the shooting is going to kickstart soon.
