No Glimpse For #AA22? Is This Atlee Thinking?

Usually in Tollywood, the birthdays of heroes and directors are celebrated with special teasers, posters, title-reveal posters, and other stuff. Now that Allu Arjun’s birthday is around the corner, fans are waiting for a big update from his upcoming film, #AA22, which is being directed by Atlee. There was strong buzz that #AA22 would drop a powerful glimpse or teaser on April 8th.

But now, the scene looks different as reports are coming from the Allu camp that there will be no video glimpse coming up, but only a poster will be released. That brings us to the real point. Why skip a glimpse when expectations are so high? If you look at recent big films, rushing out half-baked teasers has backfired. Films like Adipurush and Vishwabhara faced heavy trolling because of weak VFX in the first promos that were released. Perhaps that’s the reason Atlee is being more careful now. Wonder why?

Atlee and Allu Arjun are actually cooking up a science fiction film, and VFX plays a major role. Already we have seen in the announcement video that they have roped in many Hollywood VFX studios to get things rights. Right now, the visual output is reportedly not full wrapped up, and hence they don’t want to rush with the glimpse release. Instead of releasing incomplete visuals and inviting negative buzz, Atlee is choosing to wait, it looks like. On one side, fans might feel disappointed without a glimpse of a special day.
