The other day, Bollywood hero, Superstar Aamir Khan, married for the third time, at the age of 61, as he tied the knot with his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, who is 47 years old. This is a registered marriage that took place at the actor’s Bandra residence, and the biggest shocker is that his former wives also attended the wedding ceremony.

Back in 1986, Aamir Khan married his friend Reena Dutta and divorced her in 2002, while the couple had two kids, hero Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan. Later, Aamir married his assistant director Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple has a son, Azad, before calling it quits in 2021 after 16 years of marriage. Later, Aamir Khan met Bengaluru-based Gauri Spratt, who owns salon chains and lives in Mumbai, doing creative consulting for various projects.

Guess what, with both Reena and Kiran Rao attending the wedding of Aamir Khan, some progressive folks are hailing this as a new-age friendship, which we see in many Hollywood movies and in Western countries a lot. They might have got divorced, but still they have to co-parent and that’s the reason they should be good friends, and that good friendship could be felt in the videos too.

At the same time, conservatives are pointing out how Aamir is making fun of Indian roots, culture, and system by flaunting his ex-wives and current wife at the same event, leaving no respect for the land. Whether good or bad, Aamir Khan’s videos are trending everywhere.
