Jr. AB To Replace Aravind Swamy In Popular Sequel!

Thani Oruvan' is one such movie that created a unique name for itself in Tamil cinema. The way it portrayed the mind games between the hero and villain was never seen before. The slick presentation, the twists and thrills it gave the audience were nothing short of brilliant. It was remade as 'Dhruva' in Telugu with Ram Charan as the lead. 'Thani Oruvan' which came out in 2015 ended up Aravind Swamy's character getting killed and the hero arresting all the corrupt people who were in bed with the villain.

The second part was announced last year and 'AGS Entertainment' banner is producing it. Mohan Raja who directed the first part will be handling 'Thani Oruvan 2' as well while his brother Jayam Ravi is the hero. Nayanthara is the heroine once again. As we know, Aravind Swamy was brilliant as the villain. He was the biggest highlight of the movie and it is very difficult to replace him.

But the makers have now decided to bring Abhishek Bachchan to play the villain role in the second part. Apparently, the 'Guru' actor liked the script immensely and is ready to take up the project. Amitabh is already playing a key role in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and Abhishek will be part of 'Thani Oruvan 2'. If he succeeds, he may get more roles in pan-Indian movies.

Coming to 'Dhruva 2', we are unaware if Ram Charan remakes the second part as well or not. He is a pan-Indian hero now and has 2-3 projects already lined up. Hip Hop Tamizha is composing music for this film too and 'Thani Oruvan' is expected to release at the end of 2024.
