With less than 24 hours to release, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's 'Devil' is in the news for all the wrong reasons. It is known that Naveen Medaram was picked as the director at the beginning of the movie but Abhishek Nama took the credit of being the director and producer now. This raised a lot of eyebrows and Naveen's emotional note on social media led to a huge controversy.
Abhishek Nama, who is promoting the film extensively has revealed the reason behind replacing Naveen. He claims that Kalyan Ram approved the decision of Naveen to become the director but his struggle to picture a massive action set piece during the initial stages of production made them realize that he needs to be replaced.
Naveen reportedly asked for another chance but his issues with the film's crew ultimately made them remove the debutant through legal notices. Apparently, a settlement was also reached. Talking about 'Devil', Nama stated that the film came out quite well due to the efforts of all 24 crafts.
He claimed that Kalyan Ram's performance was fantastic and showed confidence that the movie would be engaging and gripping the whole time. Samyuktha Menon and Malavika Nair are the female leads in this movie. The talented team of Srikanth Vissa has beautifully crafted the story, screenplay, and dialogues, ensuring a gripping and engaging narrative for the audience.
