Anand & Ritika's Romantic 'Duet' Officially Gets Launched!

Young actor Anand Deverakonda is making all the positive moves in his career. He is aware of his strengths and weaknesses which is why he took the unconventional path. He is not going after the regular commercial image and trying to impress the audience with new concepts. His last venture 'Baby' turned out to be a blockbuster. He is awaiting the release of 'Gam Gam Ganesha' at the moment but he kickstarted his next project officially.

The pooja ceremony of 'Duet' has been held in Hyderabad and 'Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam' fame Ritika Nayak is the heroine in this film. KE Gnanavel Raja is producing this film under Studio Green Banner on a lavish budget while Mathura Sreedhar Reddy is acting as co-producer. The event was attended by prolific personalities like Vijay Devarakonda, directors Harish Shankar, Chandu Mondeti, Sai Rajesh, hero Satya Dev and Anand's parents Govarthan Devarakonda and Madhavi were present at the ceremony which was organised at Annapurna Studios.

Mithun Varadaraja Krishnan, who worked under star director AR Murugadoss, is making his directorial debut with 'Duet'. Harish Shankar sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while parents Govardhan Deverakonda and Madhavi Deverakonda switched on the camera. Talented filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti directed the first shot. Producer Gnanavel Raja, director Sai Rajesh and Madhura Sreedhar handed over the script to the makers. Director Mithun Varadaraja Krishnan said, "I'm happy to be introduced to Tollywood as a director with the film Duet. This is a good love story. Thanks to producer KE Gnanavel Raja for giving me the opportunity to be a director. I am also thankful to Anand. Madhura Sridhar is there to solve any problem our team has. Thanks to everyone who is supporting us."

Ritika Nayak stated, "I was mesmerized when I heard the story of the duet. Curiosity arose as to when we will go for shooting. It is an honor to work with Anand. Thanks to director Mithun, producers Gnanavel and Sridhar for giving me this opportunity."

Hero Anand Deverakonda said that it is special for him. He added, "When he shared the title of this movie with his friends in the industry, he said, "It is a good title. It would have been better if we register it." From there positive vibes started on the duet. Thanks to the producers Gnanavel Raja and Madhura Sridhar who selected me for this movie. Gnanavel garu has done big movies in Tamil with Surya and Karthi. Here I have to produce with my elder brother as well. Gnanavel Raja is going to do big movies in Telugu. I want the movies in that huge line-up to be successful. I feel very happy that GV Prakash Kumar is the music director of our film. I have been his fan since the movie Aadukalam. Ritika played a superb role in Ashokavanamlo Arjuna kalyanam movie.. I wish her all the best for this film. Mithun has written an amazing story. We are going to make a good movie with our team."
