Amidst this, rumors began circulating online regarding Adah's purported purchase of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's flat in Mumbai's Mont Blanc Apartments, where he once resided.

Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise in 2020 left a void in the hearts of many, and the flat where he lived became a subject of interest for fans and the media. Adah, who had maintained silence on the matter until now, finally addressed the speculation during an interview. Expressing her discomfort with the attention surrounding the issue, Adah emphasized her preference for privacy, stating, "There is a right time to speak. When I went to see the place, I got overwhelmed with the media attention. I am a private person. I love being in the public eye for my movies but I have always been private. I guard my privacy."

Adah Sharma also expressed her dismay at certain comments made about Sushant Singh Rajput, urging for respect towards the late actor's memory. She emphasized the need for sensitivity, especially when discussing someone who is no longer present to defend themselves. While she acknowledged the speculation about her materialistic acquisitions, Adah reiterated her focus on residing in the hearts of her fans, rent-free, for now.
