The noise around Dhurandhar: The Revenge is only getting louder, with Box office numbers and Social media trends taking it everywhere. Guess what, other day even Superstar Prabhas and his Spirit director Sandeep Reddy Vanga went to Allu Cinemas to catch the second part of this blockbuster on the sensational big Dolby screen. As Vanga also shared numerous praises on social media after watching the movie, director Aditya Dhar is now overwhelmed.
Replying to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Aditya actually wrote, “I genuinely love the way you stand your ground and give it back when it matters. There’s a real honesty and belief in that, and it’s something I truly respect” and then he added to the punchline, “Give my love to the Legend Prabhas sir!”. That one word is standing out now. “Legend”. Many are wondering why a director of Aditya Dhar’s stature would call Prabhas a legend, and here is why it happens.
How did Prabhas reach this stage? It didn’t happen overnight. The turning point is obvious. Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Those films didn’t just give him success. They gave him a pan-India identity. A scale that very few actors have seen. But what matters is what came after. Even with mixed results, Prabhas continued to operate at a massive level. He didn’t step down. He didn’t go back to safe zones. That consistency in scale is what kept his market intact.
Prabhas has films like Fauzi, Kalki 2, Salaar 2 and Spirit lined up. Surely for him, it is now moving into that second zone. “Star” is one phase. “Legend” is another.
