At a time when film budgets are going out of control, talented hero Adivi Sesh is saying something very different. In a recent interaction, he spoke about how actors themselves can reduce the burden on producers by doing simple things and indulging in practical thinking. He gave an example.

Apparently, Adivi Sesh shared that If he has to fly from Hyderabad to Mumbai, he doesn’t insist on business class, but Economy is fine. He also shared an incident from the Goodachari shoot days in Himachal Pradesh. When Prakash Raj’s family accompanied him, the accommodation requirement increased beyond budget, as more family members came with the versatile actor. Instead of adding pressure, Sesh chose to stay in a small lodge that cost just ₹400–₹500, as they gave up almost 4-5 hotel rooms to Prakash Raj’s family. That says a lot.

Coming to others, many actors come with heavy off-screen expenses in the name of Caravans, Personal staff, stylists, managers, and Security. All of this adds up, and sometimes, these costs quietly eat into the producer’s budget more than the actual filmmaking. We have seen cases where producers struggle not because of the film’s scale, but because of these additional expenses. And if most of them think like Adivi Sesh, surely they would save the producers big time.

Coming to Sesh, he has always worked in that mid-budget space. Films like Evaru and Goodachari proved that content-driven cinema doesn’t need overspending. Now, he is coming up with Dacoit, releasing on April 10. Again, a controlled budget film with a strong content focus. Surely, he’s a budget-friendly star.
