Adivi Sesh Talks Mrunal, Romance, and Heartbreak in Dacoit!

Adivi Sesh is switching gears with Dacoit, stepping away from spies and shootouts to explore something raw, love. He’s known for intense, smart thrillers like Goodachari and Major, but this time he’s getting personal. Dacoit isn’t your regular romance, though. It’s love tangled with violence, heartbreak, and emotional scars that don’t fade easily.

Slated for a December 2025 release, the film brings together Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in a story that jumps between tenderness and rage. It’s being shot in both Hindi and Telugu, aiming to connect with audiences across the board. Talking about the shift in tone, Sesh said, “Even though my character is filled with rage, the story at its core is about love, the kind that changes you, saves you, or breaks you.” It’s messy, painful, and real.

Directed by Shaneil Deo and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under Annapurna Studios, Dacoit also has Sesh involved as a writer. He’s not just acting, he’s building the world from the inside out. That kind of creative control shows how much he’s investing in this story. With big emotions and bigger stakes, the film looks set to be more than just another action drama.
