Adivi Sesh Gets A Grand Independence Day Honour

Adivi Sesh is all set to be part of a special series of Independence Day celebrations in New York. The actor will represent India at three important events being held in the city as part of the celebrations marking India’s 80th year of Independence.

The celebrations will begin on August 14 with a special event at the iconic Empire State Building. Adivi Sesh will have the honour of pulling the ceremonial lever that will light up the famous landmark in the Indian tricolour. The Empire State Building will glow in saffron, white and green as a tribute to India.

This will be a proud moment for Adivi Sesh and the Indian community in New York. The special lighting is planned as a celebration of India’s freedom, culture and growing presence around the world. The event is scheduled for August 14 at the Empire State Building.

The celebrations will continue on August 15, India’s Independence Day. Adivi Sesh will join the flag-hoisting ceremony at Times Square in New York. According to the event details, the ceremony will take place at 10 AM EST on Broadway between West 43rd Street and West 44th Street.

The flag-hoisting event is being organised by the Federation of Indian Associations. It will also feature patriotic songs, cultural performances and other celebrations. The sight of the Indian flag being hoisted at one of the world’s most famous locations is expected to be a proud moment for the Indian community.

The biggest event of the three-day celebrations will take place on August 16. Adivi Sesh will be the Chief Guest at the 44th India Day Parade in New York. The parade is scheduled to begin at 12 PM on Madison Avenue.

The parade will feature colourful floats, marching groups, cultural programmes, food stalls and Indian celebrations. Bollywood celebrities and other special guests are also expected to be part of the grand event.
