M.S. Raju’s ‘Agadha’ Eyes August 14 Release, Promises A Mystical Big-Screen Experience

Mega filmmaker M.S. Raju is gearing up to present audiences with an intriguing cinematic experience through his upcoming mystic divine thriller Agadha. After creating curiosity with its visually striking teaser, the film has now officially locked August 14, 2026 as its worldwide theatrical release date.

Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner and presented by Ajay KR, Agadha is mounted on a grand scale. The makers are said to be extremely confident about the film, a confidence that is reflected in its rich visuals and the way the promotions are being planned.

The teaser has turned out to be a major talking point, crossing 14 million views and receiving an encouraging response from movie lovers. The mysterious backdrop, stunning visuals, haunting score and impressive production values have helped the film generate considerable buzz ahead of its release.

Speaking about the project, M.S. Raju called Agadha his dream venture and revealed that the teaser offers only a glimpse into the film’s mystical world. According to him, the story blends mythology, suspense, emotions and fantasy, promising audiences a visually immersive theatrical experience.

Lead actress Kamakshi Bhaskarla believes her character Mahadevi will be remembered as one of the finest roles of her career. Shravan Reddy, who reunites with M.S. Raju after Dirty Hari, said the film has several unexpected moments that will keep audiences engaged till the end.

The film also features Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar and Sijju in important roles.

On the technical front, Rakesh Venkatapuram has composed the music, while Nani Chamidishetty handles cinematography. Junaid Siddiqui is the editor, Rajeev Nair is the production designer, and Chaitanya Vegi has provided the additional screenplay. N.V.N. Subbaraju serves as the Executive Producer.
