Aishwarya Shines Bright At Andhra Puttaparthi Sai Baba Gathering

People in Andhra Pradesh are feeling pretty proud these days. CM Chandrababu Naidu has been rolling out a bunch of good changes for the state. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Srisailam to offer prayers at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple. And on top of that, Alphabet, Google’s parent company, announced a huge $15-billion investment to set up an AI data hub in the state. Big day already, and then something else happened.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan travelled to Puttaparthi for the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The event pulled in quite a few familiar faces, including PM Modi and Sachin Tendulkar. Aishwarya visited the Maha Samadhi in Sai Kulwant Hall and joined the day’s programmes.

When she spoke, she kept it simple. She talked about Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings and how he always encouraged people to care for each other. She said that even after a hundred years, his presence still feels alive and continues to guide many people. Sachin Tendulkar and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan were there too.

As for Aishwarya’s work, she was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan II in April 2023.

No update on her next film yet. Recently, she also won a case in the Delhi High Court to protect her personality rights from misuse through AI and deepfakes, which is becoming a serious issue now.
