Who would’ve thought Ajith Kumar’s second release of 2025 would outpace even Vidaa Muyarchi  a film that had already crossed Rs 150 crore globally? But here we are. With Good Bad Ugly, the star has clearly shifted gears and is racing toward a career peak.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly isn’t just impressing fans in Tamil Nadu  where it’s collected over Rs 80 crore  but is also making waves overseas. The film has entered the million-dollar club in the international market and already crossed a global gross of Rs 150 crore. Trade circles are now buzzing with predictions of a Rs 200 crore milestone, and the team recently celebrated the roaring response with a grand blockbuster event in Hyderabad.

At the heart of this stylish action-drama is Ajith’s Red Dragon  a former gangster who steps away from crime for love, only to return 17 years later when his son is kidnapped. It's emotional, gritty, and packed with action  the kind of role Ajith sinks his teeth into.

Interestingly, while Tamil films have traditionally had a strong base in Malaysia and Singapore, Good Bad Ugly is flipping the trend  outperforming even some Telugu biggies in North America. That alone speaks volumes about the movie's cross-regional pull and Ajith’s rising pan-India stardom.
