200 Cr For Akhanda: Producer Says Twitter Folk Don’t Know Business

The next big film from Telugu cinema is the second part of Akhanda and it is preparing for its release on December 5. While the film is now preparing for its release, corresponding weekend, the makers have sat down for an interview with the Media and a few interesting topics came to discussion.

One of the crucial points that was brought up to the discussion was the rumours about the breakeven target for Akhanda 2. When the producers were asked, if there is any credibility in the ongoing speculations on social media about this film, having to do ₹200 crore gross just to breakeven, here’s what the producers said.

Producers Ram and Gopi Achanta who are associated with this film revealed that the Twitter batch, which speculates so very loudly about the business aspect of films, don’t have a clue about what they’re talking.

The leading producers confirmed that the actual business of a film are only defined by the producer and his distributors, and no one else. He pointed out that there is absolutely not true in this speculation about this film, nor is there any truth about this speculation on any other films either.

“ This Twitter group doesn’t even know the difference between gross, share and nett. Digest simply carry forward the information that was filed to them by other individuals and comment on other films without any basic knowledge.” They said.

While the leading producers did not necessarily reveal the business aspect of Akhanda 2, they affirmed that the Twitter for do not have a clue about what they are talking as they appeared to be educated by the ongoing speculations in this connection.
