Looks like there's a major shakeup happening in Akhil Akkineni’s next film Lenin. Originally, the project had Sreeleela playing the female lead and even featured her in early promo clips. But now, the team has taken a sharp turn, removing her from the cast after just eight days of shooting, and all signs point to a new face stepping in.

Sources say scheduling conflicts were the main reason. Sreeleela is currently juggling multiple projects, including a high-profile Hindi film with Kartik Aaryan and two more in the pipeline. With Lenin facing repeated delays, the makers reportedly felt it was better to recast the role than keep waiting. That decision has opened the door for a fresh pairing, and the name doing the rounds is Bhagyashri Borse.

Bhagyashri, who recently made her Tollywood debut with Mr. Bachchan, seems to be rising fast. She’s already working with Ram in Andhra King Taluka and with Dulquer Salmaan in Kantha. Now, if reports are true, she’s all set to join Akhil in Lenin, adding another big project to her growing list. While the official announcement is still pending, insiders suggest it’s just a matter of hours.

The shift in casting has certainly stirred interest, especially with fans curious about how Bhagyashri and Akhil will click on screen. With Lenin being backed by Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments and directed by Murali Kishore Abburi, expectations remain high.
