Akhil Akkineni’s latest film “Lenin” is hitting cinemas on July 10th. Almost from the last two months, the makers are releasing the content from the movie, like songs, song videos, small promos and teasers, and the film got postponed from May 1st to June 26, two dates, twice. However, Nagarjuna Akkineni, who joined the film as a co-producer with Sithara Entertainments, stated that the makers are carving the film more for betterment, and they have locked July 10th as the release date. And that’s just 15 days away.

These days, big-ticket stars like Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan are not even doing any media interactions, press meets, and special interviews with media folks, but are usually conducting some events. They are busy promoting their films in Bollywood, while the Telugu audience will anyway watch those movies. However, that wouldn’t work in the case of heroes who don’t yet have a solid fanbase or a believable market. That puts Akhil in the spotlight now as he is not aggressively promoting the film.

And only if he promotes day and night for the next 15 days, the film will get solid openings. Otherwise, the trailers and songs, which are not so aggressively engaging, can’t do huge engagement and turn that into footfalls. Well, Akhil and his father Nagarjuna know the game better. But then, industry talk is that Nagarjuna is pretty confident on the shock factor inside the content, and he hopes that the film works like a Kantara and Manjummel Boys once it hits cinemas.
