Akhil Raj and Naga Durga combo crazy title Shanarthi

Akhil Raj is set to captivate audiences once again in a brand new project titled Shanarthi, a film deeply rooted in regional culture. The traditional drama brings together a promising young team determined to present a visually and emotionally striking narrative. The project introduces Raj Ganesh Uppunooti as a director, who honed his skills as a protege under Sampath Nandi.

Opposite the lead hero, popular Telangana folk artist Naga Durga is making her highly anticipated acting debut. With blockbuster director Sampath Nandi acting as the guiding force and showrunner, expectations are high, given his track record with successful rural stories and franchises. Produced jointly by Sampath Nandi Teamworks and KV Sridhar Reddy’s Sri Dhanalakshmi Productions, the movie is being presented by the renowned Aditya Movies banner

The traditional drama is launched grandly today at the iconic Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad, surrounded by the core team and esteemed industry guests. Acclaimed music director Suresh Bobbili has been roped in to compose the tunes, promising to bring an authentic rustic flavor to the emotional depth of the story. The makers are preparing to begin regular filming very soon.

The makers released title poster and it leaves a powerful first impression by honoring local traditions. Titled Shanarthi, a classic Telangana greeting, the poster showcases two hands interlocked in vibrant shades of turmeric yellow and vermilion red. Detailed with sacred wrist threads and traditional red bangles, the imagery perfectly justifies the film’s tagline, "A Tale of Culture," evoking a strong sense of festive atmosphere and regional customs.
