Akkineni Nagarjuna isn’t just counting numbers as he approaches his 100th film — he’s continuing a pattern that’s set him apart in the industry. Known for placing trust in first-time directors like Vijay Binni in Naa Saami Ranga, Nagarjuna is once again handing the reins to new talent.

This time, it’s Ra Karthik, who gained recognition with the Tamil film Nitham Oru Vaanam. The duo is all set to collaborate on a high-octane action entertainer. Backed by Annapurna Studios, the film begins shooting this July, marking a significant milestone in both their careers.

Nagarjuna’s instinct for picking new-age directors doesn’t always guarantee a hit, but it often results in strong storytelling. His bet on Vijay Binni turned into a blockbuster, and fans are hopeful this new pairing will deliver the same magic.

Before this centennial project rolls out, Nagarjuna will be seen in Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula and starring Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna. With a release date locked for June 20, Nagarjuna’s slate looks more exciting than ever.
