Akshay In Prabhas' Line Of Fire Once Again!

Hailed as Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar has been one of the top stars in Hindi cinema for the past 3 decades. Prior to the lockdown, he enjoyed a golden period with his message-oriented films and movie with a patriotic touch. But everything changed since lockdown. All his movies like 'Bell Bottom', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Samrat Prithviraj', 'Raksha Bandhan', 'Cutputli', 'Ram Sethu', 'Selfie', 'Mission Raniganj' and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' failed badly at the box office.

His latest movie 'Sarfira' which was a remake of Suriya's 'Aakasame Nee Haddu Ra' ended up being a huge commercial failure. The movie was released when 'Kalki 2898 AD' was creating havoc in the Hindi market. It looks like Akshay is coming into Prabhas' line of fire once again. He is planning to make a comeback with 'Jolly LLB 3' which is supposed to hit the screens on 10th April 2025. Akshay and Arshad Warsi who were the heroes in the first two 'Jolly LLB' movies are coming together this time.

Everything was set for a perfect comeback but Prabhas announced that his 'Raja Saab' would hit the screens on the same day. The glimpse came out recently and it showcased Prabhas in a stylish avatar after a long time. It is a horror romantic comedy and Maruthi is directing it. Prabhas enjoys a huge market in North India and it is expected to have a huge release especially after 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Arriving at the same time as 'Raja Saab' might not be the best thing for Akshay considering his form off late. We need to see how things turn out in the coming days.
