When Alia Bhatt made her debut with 'Student Of The Year' in 2012, everyone thought that she would be nothing more than a pretty face. Her acting in the movie and what she said on 'Koffee With Karan' at that time, made her a meme. No one guessed that she would go on to become one of the top actresses in Bollywood. She made it to the No.1 spot now and Alia is receiving a lot of awards and accolades for her performances.
She improved herself as an actress with each and every film and turned out to be one of the youngest actresses to win the National Award in the 'Best Actor (Female)' category. She recently received the Best Actress award at the Filmfare OTT awards for her remarkable acting in 'Darlings' which streamed on Netflix. She revealed that all the awards and praises are making her more responsible. She claimed that great roles don't come often and she is fearful of acting for money now.
In her speech, she said, "I would firstly start off by thanking Shah Rukh Khan for giving me the first opportunity to produce a film. I remember Shah Rukh calling me and saying, 'main usually doosron ke saath film produce nahi karta but tere saath karunga because I love you (I usually don't produce films with other but I will do it with you because I love you).' So thank you for that, if it wasn't for you, this wouldn't have been possible."
Alia Bhatt is currently working on 'Jigra' and she is looking after her baby while her husband Ranbir Kapoor is busily promoting his film 'Animal'.
