Allu Aravind Remembers His Mother’s Final Journey

Sometimes life pauses in ways we can’t explain. That is how producer Allu Aravind described the passing of his mother, Allu Kanaka Ratnamma. Speaking with deep emotion, he said the family went through a wave of shock that words could not capture.

Aravind revealed that for the first two hours after her death, the house was silent, filled only with grief and disbelief. “We were in deep shock. None of us could understand how to react,” he shared. It was a moment that reminded them how fragile life is, even when surrounded by fame, success, and recognition.

But grief slowly turned into acceptance. Aravind said he and his sisters made a decision that went beyond mourning. Instead of letting sorrow pull them down, they wanted to send their mother off with peace and dignity. “After those two hours, we thought we should let her go to heaven with calmness. That was the only gift we could give her at that moment,” he explained.

A family that has contributed greatly to Indian cinema, through movies, acting, or making films, felt a deep personal loss. However, Allu Aravind's words show courage in a moment of sadness. It highlights that behind every famous person is a private life filled with love and sorrow.
