After getting national-level fame with “Pushpa” and “Pushpa 2”, many wondered whom Allu Arjun would pick for his next projects. And that lineup was not even there for some time. However, now, huge clarity has come up regarding his next projects, and the surprising thing is that there is no Telugu director at all in his lineup. While there is some doubt until yesterday, now it’s clarified.
With Trivikram’s God of War announced, it has now come out that Allu Arjun is not doing that film. Already after the Pushpa series, he carved out a film with Atlee, which is titled Raaka. Then he’s getting ready to take off with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s movie. Both these filmmakers are from Tamil Nadu. These two projects will be followed by Malayalam director Basil Joseph’s superhero flick. Many thought that this would happen after Trivikram’s movie; now that option is there. There’s talk that after wrapping these three films, Bunny will join hands with Sanjay Leela Bhansali from Bollywood. So there’s no Telugu director in his lineup now.
With the Pushpa star locking only Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi directors and with Trivikram out of place, many are wondering why Bunny doesn’t have any Telugu director in place. That said, there are no proven pan-India directors in Tollywood right now who are free. Because there are only Rajamouli and Sukumar who have proved their mettle big, and they are occupied with films now.
