Confident Allu Arjun Becomes Solo Player: What's Up?
He is evidently throwing solo player vibes with these attractive promotional campaigns.
Allu Arjun is one of the true blue pan Indian superstars in Telugu cinema and the fact that his films are generically reaching the wider pockets of the pan Indian belt even without much promotion shows the same. This was already observed in the case of Pushpa 1 which was a raging hit at the pan-Indian belts.
Now, Allu Arjun appears to have gained a lot of confidence from this and the same can be seen if we look at the fact that he shouldered all of Pushpa 2's promotions on his own.
Usually, when a star hero goes to other states to promote his films, there is a very good chance that the event might have a star chief guest from the region, in order to add a sense of nativity and glamour to the event. But in the case of Pushpa 2, it is Allu Arjun who is entirely running the Pushpa 2 campaign on his own.
When Allu Arjun toured Bihar, Chennai and Kochi, he didn't have any local stars to add value to the events. He was there all on his own and vowed to keep the campaign up and running on his own shoulders.
Even the pre-release event in Hyderabad today will have no chief guests as Allu Arjun will be carrying it up on his own. He is evidently throwing solo player vibes with these attractive promotional campaigns. He is trusting his own shoulders to do the job for him and he is showing no signs of slowing down just yet.
Pushpa 2 is now headed for a grand theatrical debut on the 5th of this month and box office projections have arisen massively on this Sukumar directorial. As is known, the film must gross Rs 1000 crore worldwide just to attain the breakeven value. Putting up such numbers without SS Rajamouli stamping is a big deal.
