Buzz: Allu Arvind Pushing Many Others Into Production

Mega producer Allu Arvind hasn’t produced a solid direct film after his maiden banner Geetha Arts delivered a stupendous movie like “Ala Vaikuntapurramlo”. However, they have funded and acquired a lot of films for the banner. But then, Arvind encouraged the likes of Bunny Vasu, SKN, and Dheeraj Mogilineni by funding their movies. It looks like he wants to fund many others in the same way and make them producers now.

Reports are coming that Allu Arvind wants to create as many producers as possible, by lending them money, and taking a short interest rate, while distributing the produced film through his channels. Currently, he’s said to be transforming those who have associated with Aha OTT as producers, as they are coming up with a movie that will have two key people from Aha as producers. On the other hand, he has given an investment for Ajith Thakur and BVS Ravi to produce their debut movie with Allari Naresh, which happens to be a remake.

Earlier, Allu Arvind similarly funded Bunny Vas and Dheeraj Mogilineni too, and continues to do so, but somehow the GA2 banner was diluted now. Many are wondering why Arvind wants to fund a lot of people and bring a lot of producers into the industry. But this could be seen as a content-creating mechanism. Rather than making many films on his banner by hiring a big team like Dharma Productions, maybe Arvind is empowering other players, such that his Geetha Artist distribution and exhibition circuits get a lot of feed.
