Allu Arjun Promotes Unity: Bollywood & Tollywood Like Brothers

The South and North debate when it comes to films and fans is not an old thing. No matter pan-India level stars say what about this, fans go berserk. But then, who better than National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun to talk about it at, as his Pushpa happens to be that solid pan-India blockbuster and won him a lot of appreciation?

In a recent interview, Arjun addressed the ongoing debate between Bollywood and South Indian cinema, advocating for unity. Despite his immense South Indian stardom, Arjun doesn't differentiate between Tollywood and Bollywood. He holds immense respect for Bollywood and considers the entire Indian film industry as one entity. In a recent chat show, he addressed the current slump in Bollywood, stating, "It's unfair to criticize Bollywood for a small rough patch. They've given us incredible movies for decades!"

Arjun emphasized the mutual respect and influence between the two industries. "South and Bollywood cinema influence each other greatly. We're more like brothers from different regions with immense respect for one another," he concluded.

Meanwhile, fans eagerly await Arjun's next project, Pushpa: The Rule, hitting theaters on August 15th, 2024. Directed by Sukumar, the film promises another high-octane experience. Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprise their roles, with Disha Patani rumored to have a special appearance. This sequel will delve into Pushpa's rise to power in the sandalwood smuggling world.
