Sukumar Taking 'KGF' Route With 'Pushpa'!

If we look closely, the basic premise of 'Pushpa: The Rise' and 'KGF' franchise are quite similar. The hero elevations and the narration pattern also share some resemblance though the backdrop and presentation are completely different. As we know, the second part of 'KGF' which was released in 2022 was the biggest hit in India and even crossed the collections of 'RRR'.

Now 'Pushpa 2' is under production and it is definitely one of the most awaited films in the country. Sukumar reworked on the script of the second part once the first part became a massive hit. The shooting of 'Pushpa 2' is going on at a slow pace and Sukumar is taking his own sweet to make the movie. Sources say that it may release during the summer of 2024.

Only 40% of the shooting has been completed as of now and the producers are worrying if they could get a perfect date for the film to release in all languages. Bunny is adamant on releasing this film during the summer of 2024 and wants to promote it aggressively for a month or two unlike the first part. Sources say that the movie is going to have an open ending just like 'KGF 2' where it created a platform for the third part.

Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine in this flick while Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are bankrolling this project. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Fahadh Fasil will be seen as the antagonist while Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others play key roles. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is the cinematographer while Karthika Srinivas is the editor.
