Produced under the Studio Green banner by KE Gnanavel Raja, the trailer and songs generated a very good response. The promotions are in full swing already and the makers announced that they will be releasing the film on 26th July.
The team of 'Buddy' had a great chat with Tupaki and they have revealed a lot of snippets regarding 'Buddy' and we got to know more about their personalities as well. Sirish said that the heavy CG work led to the delay in release and he promised that the audience will be definitely entertained by this movie. Talking about his films, he said that he likes to travel with one project at a time and not focus on too many things. Ali was also present and confirmed that he will be seen in 'Buddy', 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram', Suhas' film and many more.
Heroine Gayatri Bharadwaj claimed that she never questioned god's plan and added that this is why she is here. Talking about her role, she revealed that she is an air traffic controller and he is a pilot. The crew had a great time pulling each other's legs during the interview as well. 'Rangam' fame Ajmal who played the antagonist's role said that he went to higher studies and came back to films which is the reason for the gap and he prefers to do more good characters. Sirish said that Ajmal is the complete opposite of what he did in the movie.
