According to the latest reports, Amazon prime paid over rupees hundred crore for the OTT rates of this Thalapathy Vijay film - Jana Nayagan. The special thing about this film is that it is going to be the final film of Thalapathy Vijay before he turns fully active in politics and waves monetary goodbye to cinema.

Vijay had already announced that this is going to be his final film for a while now, as he decided to be active in Tamil Nadu politics, leading up to the 2026 assembly election.

So there is a lot of anticipation on this film, which is being directed by talented young film maker H Vinoth. The film has started the shooting process already, and Vijay is nearly done with the same. Coincidentally, the theme of the film also happens to revolve around politics, which is in tune with Vijay’s aspirations.
