Actor Naveen Polishetty is known for choosing clean and entertaining films that connect well with family audiences. His movies usually focus on strong storytelling, humor, and relatable emotions. This approach has helped him build a loyal fan base especially among young viewers and families.

This Sankranti, Naveen Polishetty is coming to theatres with his new movie Anaganaga Oka Raju. The film is scheduled to release on January 14 and is expected to attract festive crowds. The movie is produced by Naga Vamsi, under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. According to industry buzz, the producer has spent close to ₹40 crore on the film.

Even before the theatrical release, the film has already recovered a major portion of its budget through non-theatrical deals. The OTT rights alone brought in around ₹19 crore. Audio rights added another ₹3 crore, while satellite rights fetched about ₹5 crore. In total, these deals helped the makers recover nearly ₹27 crore. In addition, overseas rights were sold for approximately ₹5 crore, taking the total recovery to around ₹32 crore so far.

This means the film needs to earn only about ₹8 crore from theatrical collections to break even. Considering the Sankranti season and Naveen Polishetty’s popularity, trade experts feel this target is easily achievable.

The movie is very important for Naga Vamsi and Sithara Entertainments. The production house faced some tough times last year due to a few box office failures. With nearly eight films lined up for 2026, Anaganaga Oka Raju is seen as a key project to start the year on a profitable note.
