Anil Ravipudi on Making a Film with Prabhas

Anil Ravipudi has made a name for himself in Telugu cinema. He is known as a successful director after Rajamouli. Anil has directed eight films so far. His movies from Pataas to Sankranthi Ki Vachcham have brought huge profits to producers.

The movies F2 and F3 made with Venkatesh, were blockbuster hits. His recent film Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam earned ₹230 crore gross in just ten days and it is still collecting good revenue at the box office.

In its second week, the movie continued to attract audiences. The movie team is still promoting it. Recently, they organized a success event in Bhimavaram and the event was called the Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam Blockbuster Celebration.

At the event, Anil Ravipudi expressed his happiness. He thanked everyone for making the movie a big hit. Anil said, “With this movie’s success, my tension for future projects has increased.” He added, “My movies perform well everywhere, but they do even better in Godavari districts.”

Anil praised the people of the Godavari region. He said, “People here are happy and full of fun. They are known for their respect.” During the event, someone asked Anil when he would make a movie with Prabhas. He replied, “I am also waiting for it. If you all wish strongly, it will happen.”

Currently, Prabhas is busy with several movies. He is working on The Raja Saab with Maruthi and Fouji with Hanu Raghavapudi. After these, he will act in Spirit directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He also has Salaar 2 and Kalki 2 lined up. Anil believes Prabhas likes comedy movies. If he presents a strong script, Prabhas might agree.

There are rumors that Anil requested Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a small role in Spirit. For now, Anil is enjoying the success of Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam. His next project is with Megastar Chiranjeevi. An announcement about this project might come in a couple of weeks. It is expected to be a fun entertainer. Anil said, “With Chiranjeevi’s comedy timing, the movie will bring laughter for sure.”
