Whatever Sandeep Reddy Vanga makes, it becomes a sensation. It has been over two months since 'Animal' released. The movie set the cash registers ringing and collected over 900 crores at the box office and went on to get a record number of views on Netflix ever since it started streaming. While the records keep piling up, we see a lot of criticism arriving its way too. Ever since it was released, the movie is facing the heat of critics, feminists, elite Bollywood celebrities and others.

It is not at all stopping and Sandeep Reddy Vanga is also not holding himself back when it comes to replying them back. Recently, he gave a strong counter to Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao asking if she didn't have a problem with scenes and songs that made fun of women in Aamir's old films. Recently, Kiran Rao said that she did not say anything about 'Animal' and Sandeep mistook her statements. 'Animal' team replied back saying, “We neither our director Sandeep Vanga are making assumptions Miss Kiran Rao! It's a fact reported by a very big media channel.”

In a recent interview, Kiran Rao said, “There are very few people who would look back at their body of work and apologize for doing something problematic in retrospect. And that's really laudable. If Mr. Vanga has something to tell Aamir, he should tell him man to man. I'm not responsible for Aamir's work or Aamir Khan. I wish Mr. Reddy would address his questions directly to Mr. Khan.”

We have seen Javed Akhtar criticizing the film by saying that it is 'dangerous'. Sandeep replied, “It is very clear that he did not watch the film. It's very clear in that comment that he did not see the entire film. Now, if someone is talking without watching the film, what can I say about them? Obviously, you feel bad because it is very clear that he has not seen the film and not only about him, anybody who is throwing stones at an artwork, why don't they check their surroundings first?”

He added, “Why didn't he tell the same thing to Farhan Akhtar when he was producing 'Mirzapur'. Duniya bhar ke gaali Mirzapur ek show mai hai and I haven't watched the whole show. When the show was translated to Telugu, if you watch that, then you will feel like puking. Why is he not checking his son's work?”

Recently, the late Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar claimed that 'Animal' is 'overrated'. We need to see if Sandeep replies to this too or leaves it.
