For a long time now, Anirudh Ravichander dominated the South Indian music scene as he continued as one of the finest music composers, not just in South Indian cinema, but also across Indian cinema. But his dominance is likely to be challenged by veteran AR Rahman now earlier used to hold the number one position.

The latest development are suggesting that Anirudh Ravichander seems to be under mounting pressure as Rahman has set a very high standard with his latest work for Peddi. Following the massive success of Chikiri from Peddi, all eyes are now on Anirudh’s next project, which is expected to release around the same time as Rahman’s film.

Reports suggest that Anirudh has not yet delivered the songs for The Paradise. The film’s team, led by director Srikanth Odela, is currently busy finishing the talkie portions and plans to complete the music sessions next month. However, time is running short as the film’s release is only about 140 days away.

Adding to the pressure, Anirudh is juggling several other major commitments, including re-recording work for Love Insurance and Jana Nayakudu. Even if the songs are completed soon, they still need to be shot and the background score has to be composed and finalized in a tight schedule.

Meanwhile, Rahman has already locked his background score timeline for Peddi, setting a new benchmark in quality. With expectations soaring, fans are eager to see how Anirudh matches up to Rahman’s musical brilliance.
