Is Anirudh To Blame For 'Devara' Delay?

Selecting Anirudh as the music composer is proving to be a huge headache for Telugu filmmakers. He is the most happening composer across the country right now. Apart from working on a lot of Tamil projects, he is taking up Hindi films too after 'Jawan'. In the midst of all this, 'Devara' is getting suffocated. Already, a lot of fans feel unhappy for leaving such a good date like 5th April. It was a date that was locked long back.

Though Saif Ali Khan's injury is one main reason, it is not something that requires months of bed rest. There is a talk that he might enter the sets soon enough. Insiders claim that Anirudh is the main reason for the delay. The team is silent about Anirudh's work speed till date. Apart from the initial clicks where Anirudh was seen in music discussions with director Koratala Siva, the young composer was nowhere to be seen.

Though he is very busy with other big Tamil projects, he should be giving time for 'Devara' as well because it is a pan-Indian project as well. He managed to work on Gautham Tinnanuri's small film in the middle of everything. But he is unable to give enough time for NTR's 'Devara'. The time in which he completes the songs and wraps up the re-recording determines the new release date of 'Devara'.

The makers are in no mood to announce a date and postpone it when the work is not done again. The BGM Anirudh gave for the teaser is not that great. Koratala would have started filming the songs if Anirudh completed his work. But the team has to wait now and one lyrical video would have completely settled the matter.
