She made her debut with 'Photo' and got recognition with 'Love In Shopping Mall'. She went on to act in many hit movies in Tamil. She won the hearts of Telugu audiences with 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. She acted in numerous hit films like 'Balupu', 'Geethanjali' and others. Whether it is a special song in 'Sarrainodu' or a supporting role in 'Vakeel Saab', she can pull off everything.

After 'Geethanjali 2', she is coming up with 'Gangs Of Godavari'. She is playing the role of Rathnamala in this movie and her character is going to be quite strong and aggressive. During an interview with Suma, Anjali revealed that for the first time in her career, she used foul language in the film. She even said the same to her team while dubbing for the film. She added that she doesn't use bad words in real life and found it interesting when Krishna Chaitanya approached her to play this role.

The director replied that Anjali is a proven artist and she could do any role. This is the reason for the director picking her and sources say that her character is going to be very viral in the movie's story. 'Gangs Of Godavari' is hitting the screens on 31st May. The songs turned out to be chartbusters and the teaser too grabbed a lot of attention. Vishwak's mass makeover has impressed big time and he plays the role of Rathna in the movie.

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are the producers. Krishna Chaitanya is the writer and director of this movie. The movie's cast includes Goparaju Ramana, Praveen, Hyper Aadi and others. Anith Madhadi is the cinematographer while Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer. Neha Shetty is the heroine.
