This decision comes amid rising expectations following Telangana’s ticket price adjustments. Fans of the Icon Star had been eagerly anticipating updates, especially with the December 4 premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule approaching.
According to the new rates, ticket prices for the December 4 premiere will cost ₹800 excluding GST. On the release day, December 5, six shows have been approved, with single-screen tickets increasing by ₹100 for second class and ₹150 for first class. Multiplexes can charge an additional ₹200 per ticket. From December 6, five shows will run daily, with these rates valid until December 17. Normal pricing will resume in the third week.
Online bookings are set to open soon and demand for premiere tickets is already surging even before they appear on booking platforms. Fans are scrambling to secure tickets, leading to immense pressure on theater owners. Despite the steep prices, ticket sales are breaking records signaling the massive anticipation for Pushpa 2.
In response to the announcement Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude via Twitter. He expressed his thanks Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for approving the hike. This announcement ends weeks of speculation and provides clarity for fans eagerly waiting to celebrate the movie’s release.
