However, when the Journalist further extended the question, saying that Tamil Nadu CM Vijay didn’t spend money to win the election, Arjun replied without any second thoughts, “I’m not as popular as him, so you’ve got your answer”.
Whether popular or not popular, popularity alone doesn’t guarantee you to win the election, because that’s a story that would be dependent on many other political things. From finding right team, to funders, from giving tickets to right folks to that of making sure that people would believe them, politics is a different game that Vijay has played well in recent times.
