We are aware that leading distribution house EROS International came into picture soon after the audio launch of 'Aagadu' and the posters hints a deal has been materialized between them.
If the reports in circulation are to believed, 'Aagadu' budget has touched Rs 60 crore which is at least Rs 10 crore more than the estimated figure at the time of launch. Fat Pay Cheques of Mahesh Babu, Srinu Vytla, Ensemble Cast, Shruti Haasan's item number and lavish production values have been the reason behind it. It is learnt that the remunerations of lead actor and director alone costed the makers to the tune of nearly Rs 30 crore.
Hence, 14 Reels struck a new deal with EROS to receive fresh finance from it. In return, EROS will be holding a major share in theatrical rights of 'Aagadu'.
Both 14 Reels and EROS are confident of recovering all the losses they incurred with '1 - Nenokkadine' with 'Aagadu' which is packed with all the elements one expects from Mahesh Babu. Sep 19th!
