Update: 2022-08-17 10:12 GMT
SS Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad has a knack for writing patriotic films and has deep knowledge of Indian history and Independence. We all call the war of 1857 as the first war of Independence but he is going to tell us about what happened in '1770'. The motion poster of the prestigious project '1770' has been released a while ago and it is quite astounding.

Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the evergreen patriotic song 'Vande Maataram' written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, the makers unveiled the motion poster. Legendary writer V Vijayendra Kumar wrote the story and screenplay for this film. Ashwin Gnagaraju who is a protégé of SS Rajamouli is directing it. He made a movie named 'Aakashavani' earlier.

Speaking at the poster launch, the director said, "This is a challenging subject for me. However, the story and screenplay were written by acclaimed writer Vijayendra Prasad. All that remains is for me to screen the blockbuster cinematic experience. I enjoy films with great period settings, strong emotions, larger-than-life action, and other themes. All of these aspects blend in well in this project."

In the poster, we can see a freedom fighter marching toward the British soldiers with nothing but a sword in his hand. The soldiers are aiming the gun directly toward him. The team will reveal additional information about the cast and crew in a big way soon. The mammoth project piqued everyone's interest with just a poster. This movie will be coming out in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali languages. Shailendra Kumar, Sujay Kutty, Krishna Kumar.B, and Suraj Sharma are the producers of this film.
