Shankar has been aiming to capture Chinese market too for his films as that will make his films more profitable and allow him freedom to think even bigger.
His I, was supposed to release there and it was even shot extensively. The movie couldn't release and the producer is no longer even producing films.
But 2.0 has a universal story of emotions that Chinese can connect with. So, the movie is titled, "Bollywood Robo 2.0 Resurgence".
