Haarika and Hassine Creations' are one of the well-known production companies in Tollywood. Known to be very close to star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas, they produced each one of his films starting from 'Julayi'.
Leaving behind 'Attarintiki Daredi' which was produced by BVSN Prasad, they bankrolled Trivikram's films like 'Julayi', 'S/o Satyamurthy', 'A Aa', 'Agnyaathavaasi', 'Aravinda Sametha' and recent 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. Despite having all these big films under their name, they never really ended up in huge profits. Barring 'A Aa' which was made on a relatively small budget, all other films involved heavy costs and were sold for high rates. While 'Agnyaathavaasi' was a disaster by epic proportions, films like 'S/o Satyamurthy' and 'Aravinda Sametha' ended up with minor losses as per trade sources. Even small films like 'Chal Mohan Ranga', 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu' and 'Ranarangam' which were produced by them did not get him profits.
Finally, they bagged a genuine super hit with 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. This Allu Arjun and Trivikram film which released during the festive season got positive talk right from the premiers and has set the cash registers ringing. Analysts say that it crossed the breakeven point in most of the areas and will end up as a blockbuster. Looks like 'Haarika & Hassine' banner just escaped from the tag of a 'No Profit' production house with the success of 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'.
