Mahi V Raghav holds immense respect and admiration for YS Rajasekhar Reddy. That is what motivated him to do a film like 'Yatra' which is never easy to make. He had only focussed on the product inspite of the negative vibes from the YSR haters.
Prior to the release, Mahi V Raghav kept saying 'Yatra' isn't just a film but history that's worth narrating. He told NTR and YSR are the two leaders who have done so much for the Telugu People. Haters continued to target Mahi even after he claimed to be not against Chandrababu Naidu and an admirer of Chiranjeevi. The negativity kept increasing after the release of 'Yatra'.
And now, Mahi V Raghav issued a statement to share his feelings. 'I bow to the unconditional love and support from the audience and YSR's admirers. I respect and accept criticism, but I willn't bow down and apologise for my actions or my beliefs. 'Yatra' will always be a story which I will be proud of. This is my tribute to YSR guru and calling him our leader would be too small as he symbolised generosity, humility, kindness, courage and trust,' conveyed the Filmmaker.
