A Theater Operator scores success as Director

Raja Kiran who made his directorial debut with horror comedy 'Geethanjali' began his career as a theater operator. Later, He turned into a marriage photographer and his experience as a operator helped him excel in photography.

This first-timer entered Telugu films in the 1998 through a politician. He worked as associate, assistant and co-director for several films ever since then. In fact, Raja Kiran got the opportunity to turn director in 2004 on Usha Kiran Movies banner. For some reasons, that project has been shelved and he has to wait for 10 years to fulfill his dream.

Raja Kiran narrated the story of 'Geethanjali' to a lot of producers. However, No one was keen to give him the chance to direct instead they want to buy the story. He actually developed the story sitting in a burial ground and he doesn't want to sell it. Only after meeting Kona Venkat, Raja Kiran fortune changed and now he scored a success with his first flick.
