Box-Office: Massive Losses With Aamir Khan's 'Thugs of Hindostan'

Update: 2018-11-15 12:48 GMT
When the makers have announced the collaboration of Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan and Big B Amitabh Bachchan for a periodic drama, people commented that the movie is definitely going to be a magnum opus and will break the collections of 'Baahubali'.

Amid high expectations, the film has finally hit the screens but ended up as a biggest disaster. While the makers called it a visual spectacle, the critics slammed it for its poor narration. After 18 years, Aamir Khan has scored a biggest disaster after 'Mela' in 2000. The budget of the movie is expected to be Rs. 250 crores whereas the movie has only collected a gross of Rs. 137 crores. The distributed share in the movie is 70 to 80 crores. So, it would be a loss of Rs. 150 to 180 crores for the buyers.
