Talented actress and yesteryear heroine Aarti Agarwal who has ruled the roost in Tollywood in the 2000s is no more. Aarti has breathed her last due to cardiac arrest in New Jersey today. The sudden death of Arthi shocked whole industry.

Arthi was born in 1984 March 5 th in a Gujarati based NRI family and she started her career as heroine with Pagalpan movie in Bollywood. She shot to fame with Venkatesh Nuvvu Naku Nacchav film and later turned as top actress in Tollywood. The film’s director Vijaya Bhaskar expressed her grief over Arthi death and said Arthi was innocent and hard working.

Aarthi shined as a top heroine of Tollywood for nearly four years .She appeared with many star heroes like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Prabhas and others. Arthi last appeared in Neelaveni and her last film to remind was ‘Ranam 2’ from director Amma Rajasekhar.

Way back in 2006 Arthi attempts suicide and joined  hospital in a critical condition with internal head injuries. Love failure with a tollywood young hero was reported as reason behind the suicide attempt at that time. After that Aarthi was married to NRI Ujwal Kumar but divorced in no time. She recently started her second innings as heroine and even appeared in few item numbers. But, her second innings in the industry also disappointed her very much. It is very unfortunate to see such a tragic end to such a talented artist like her.

This is another shock for tollywood in recent times as the industry already lost many actors. Many said Aarti was in the US to fight obesity and was undergoing liposuction. However, neither her father nor her manager Umasankar said she was undergoing lipo procedure. Tupaki.com prays for Aarthi Agarwal’s departed soul to rest in peace.
