In a shocking turn of events, Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident on Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge on Friday night. The young hero is undergoing treatment at the Apollo Hospitals and he is doing well now. The health bulletin on his health was issued by the Apollo Hospitals recently.
While he is undergoing treatment, a police case was filed against the hero on the grounds of negligent driving. It is said that the staff of the ambulance services has complained to the cops about the accident.
Reacting swiftly to the complaint received, the Raidurgam Police reportedly registered a case against Sai Dharam Tej under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) sections 336 and 184 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
Section 188 is filed against those who drive a vehicle at a speed that can pose a danger to the public. The section says the guilty can be slapped with an imprisonment of a maximum period of six months. If the incident repeats for the second time, the offender might attract imprisonment of a maximum of three years.
Section 336 of the Motor Vehicle Act deals with rash driving by a motorist that puts the life of the motorist and others in danger. If proven guilty, the offender might face imprisonment that can be extended to three months. A fine of two hundred and fifty rupees might also be slapped. In some instances, the offender might face both.
Reacting to the accident news, the cops said that the road mishap took place after Sai Dharam Tejâs bike skid due to the mud on the road. The Cops ruled out alcohol consumption while addressing the media on the accident.
After the news broke out, the members of the Mega family reached the Apollo Hospital to visit Sai Dharam Tej who is undergoing treatment for the injuries and bruises he sustained in the road mishap the other day.
