The death of Bollywood actor and young talent Sushant Singh Rajput has left a void space in Bollywood. The news is still not sinking in the minds of many people with such huge dreams in the glamour world. The Bollywood nepotism and hatred for outsiders is yet again visible and making a furore on social media.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee who created an euphoria during Director Ram Gopal Varma's 'Sathya' days was slowly sidelined and had a dull career then. He was just treated like a talent and outsider and was not considered as a star material until parallel cinema picked its pace with Directors like Hansal Mehta and Anurag Kashyap made it popular! He recently on Social Media and a Tv Interview shared his heartfelt condolences on the death of Sushant Singh Rajput who hailed from Bihar like Manoj. They both have recently collaborated for Abhishek Chaubey's 'Sonchiriya' that received critical acclaim from all corners of the nation.
Manoj has shared good moments he had on the sets of 'Sonchiriya'. While Manoj used to cook Bihari mutton for Sushant, It was this young actor who showed celestial bodies in a big telescope.He said that Sushant never spoke about Cinema and he is from another World who spoke science and books!
Manoj wept saying that the industry has left him when we all needed to him the most and thus lost him. Now at least the Industry as a family should acknowledge the talent rather than names. He continued saying that Bollywood should stop hatred for outsiders and thus encourage talent and not disappointment that led to death! Moreover he stressed on a point that he had struggled all his life to fit in this block of Cinema but never gave up, so suicide is never an answer said this maverick actor.
It is evident that the actor has too much to offer to Cinema with his talent. So far he has acted in best films like MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, Kai Po Che, Chhichhore, Kedarnath and Drive to name a few. His last film Dil Bechara is yet to release as it was stalled due to the unsaid lockdown.
