Every big film faces allegations about copying the story from one or the other person these days. This may or may not be true but the latest big film that got into this pretty big list is none other than Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya'. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, this film is currently in the news as Rajesh Manduri, an assistant of B Gopal accused the makers that his story was stolen and made by Koratala Siva as 'Acharya'. He claims that it was his 'own' story and the team of Chiru's film 'stole' it.
Rajesh explains that he narrated the story to renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers after being recommended by MLA Gottipati Ravi. He says that a brief narration was given to one of the producers, Ravi Kumar and the full story was heard by Cherry who is the co-producer.
The assistant director claims that he was suggested to give this story to Koratala as it needs an experienced hand and asked him to make small films like 'RX100' or 'Geetha Govindham' first. Rajesh said that he wasnât ready to give away the story and said the same to Cherry.
Rajesh tells that he approached a few big names as soon as he heard the news of Koratala making a similar story with Chiranjeevi but got no help from anyone. With no other option left, Rajesh reportedly came in front of the public and alleges that his story was stolen.
Interestingly, neither Gottipati Ravi nor Mythri Movie Makers a part of this film. People are finding it tough to connect the dots as they are unable to understand why Mythri banner leaks the story to Koratala if they are not a part of this film. It is to be seen how things turn out in the future.
